What is customary: A share of the bill, at any size
Worked example
On a CUP1,000.00 bill, 10% is CUP100.00, so you would hand over CUP1,100.00.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about CUP100.00 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected, and it matters more here than almost anywhere — a guide's state salary is a fraction of it.
