What is customary: Not expected — welcome, but nobody is counting
Worked example
On a OMR20.000 bill, 10% is OMR2.000, so you would hand over OMR22.000.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about OMR5.000 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected. On a wadi or desert trip the driver is tipped as well as the guide.
