Worked example
On a CHF50.00 bill, 5% is CHF2.50, so you would hand over CHF52.50.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about CHF15.00 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Service is included nearly everywhere, but a guide is tipped separately.
