What is customary: A share of the bill, at any size
Worked example
On a KSh5,000.00 bill, 10% is KSh500.00, so you would hand over KSh5,500.00.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about KSh1,000.00 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected. Safari guides are tipped by the day and the camp staff have a separate box.
