Worked example
On a LBP2,000,000 bill, 10% is LBP200,000, so you would hand over LBP2,200,000.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about LBP1,000,000 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected on guided tours. US dollars circulate alongside the lira and are welcome.
