What is customary: Service is usually already on the bill
Worked example
On a MAD500.00 bill, 10% is MAD50.00, so you would hand over MAD550.00.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about MAD100.00 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected. Agree a price before a guide starts walking, or the tip becomes the negotiation.
