What is customary: Service is usually already on the bill
Worked example
On a ₨10,000 bill, 10% is ₨1,000, so you would hand over ₨11,000.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about ₨1,000 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected. On a Karakoram trip the guide, driver and porters are tipped separately and by the day.
