Worked example
On a S/200.00 bill, 10% is S/20.00, so you would hand over S/220.00.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about S/40.00 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected. On the Inca Trail, porters and cooks are tipped separately from the guide and it is pooled at the end.
