What is customary: A share of the bill, at any size
Worked example
On a QAR200.00 bill, 10% is QAR20.00, so you would hand over QAR220.00.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about QAR50.00 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Appreciated. Desert-tour drivers are tipped as well as guides.
