What is customary: A share of the bill, at any size
Worked example
On a $50.00 bill, 10% is $5.00, so you would hand over $55.00.
Tour guides
On a “free” walking tour, the tip is the fare: about $5.00 per person.
On a paid tour, 10% of the price on top.
Expected. Guides and camp staff are tipped by the day; Victoria Falls operators often suggest an amount.
